COACHING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Swim Sask will have funding available to assist coaches with the cost of attending the 2024 CSCA Conference in Calgary this September and the 2024 Sport Leadership Conference this November in Regina. This funding is available for one of those two conferences, not both. Funding will be paid out as follows:
Individual – 65% up to $500.00
Club (min. 2 coaches) – 65% up to $1000.00
To receive funding, please submit your receipts to the Provincial Coach upon returning from the event. Deadline to submit for funding is December 10th, 2024. Should there be remaining funds left over after the completion of both conferences, Swim Sask will increase payout amongst the coaches who have received funding. In addition, coaches should also apply for the Coach Development Grant with the Coaches Association of Saskatchewan. This grant is a matching grant, so money from Swim Sask could be the matching grant to go with the money from Coaches Association of Sask.
Follow-up: Coaches will be asked to provide a virtual presentation upon return to the Swim Sask coaches or the Provincial Coach.

5. Once you are a subscriber, then go click on “Programs & Grants”.
6. Choose the “Coach Development Grant”.

b. Click on the “Apply Online” button.
