AGE GROUP FEES - updated July 30, 2024
The following fees are paid to Swim Sask by the club that a swimmer joins. Membership with Swim Sask and Swimming Canada is benefit of joining a Swim Sask affiliated club.
Clubs have additional fees; please consult with the club(s) you are considering joining for details.
Sessional Swimmers
$7.50 per session - for swimmers enrolled in a club’s sessional “Learn to Swim” program.
The registration period for sessional swimmers are: Sept 1 to Dec 31; Jan 1 to April 30 and May 1 to August 31. Clubs may only register swimmers in the sessional category if their sessions run within these dates; there can be no overlap. If club sessions differ from above, then must register swimmers in the Pre-competitive category.
This category is for swimmers aged 17 and under. This category of swimmers is NOT allowed to swim in sanctioned competitions.
Pre-Competitive
Learn To Swim: $35/swimmer
Fitness: $35/swimmer
Swimmers enrolled in a club’s sessional “Learn to Swim “and “Fitness” type programs.
This category is for swimmers aged 17 and under, not intending to participate in sanctioned competitive events; however they are allowed to compete in one sanctioned competition to try it. The registration period for this category is September 1 through August 31 of each year.
Upgrades to competitive after April 1, the fee of $95 or $155 will be less the $35 Pre-Competitive fee.
Competitive
Competitive 10 and under: $95/swimmer
Competitive 11 and over: $155/swimmer
Competitive swimmers of all ages. Swimmers wishing to take part in unlimited sanctioned events. The registration period for this category is September 1 through August 31 of each year.
Competitive swimmer fees are based on the swimmer’s age as of December 31 of the current swimming season.
Fees will be reduced by 50% for NEW swimmers who register on or after April 1. Reduced fee is not applicable to upgrades from Non-Competitive to Competitive.
